5Great Solar Charger for the Price

This solar charger has been great and reliable since I bought it. It has successfully worked on my iphone 4s, my wifes iphone 5 and my ipad mini without any charging errors. I also like the size of this panel as it folds up smaller than some of the other options on amazon. The size makes it easy to carry in my back pocket or jacket pocket when we are out exploring. I typically set it on the table at lunch time and people always stop and ask what it is. Its pretty amazing to be able to charge my phones battery using the sun, in about 1 hour my phone is 40% charged up from 1%.

This is a must have item for outdoor enthusiasts, persons in natural disaster prone areas, and "doomsday preppers". It is compact and light enough to carry in a jacket pocket or outside pocket of my backpack. I use the metal grommets to attach it to the top of my pack for charging on the go. It's weather resistant and the built-in case protects the panels while it's in your pack or the trunk of your car. This is a good size for maintaining battery levels on my 4S while camping and hiking. This surely beats running the car or generator to charge your phone during extended power outages.
